When is Fatigue a Problem

Today we tend to live life at a faster pace than our ancestors did. This killer pace is often accompanied by tiredness. Sometimes the fatigue lasts for more than two weeks and maybe longer.

There are many reasons for fatigue such as overwork, too many personal demands, the inability to say no, the inability to manage one’s time efficiently, and the stress that accompanies all of these. However fatigue can be a symptom of a more serious health problem that requires medical attention.

Some health problems, which cause fatigue, are:
depression, diabetes, hepatitis, iron-deficiency anemia, thyroid disease and sleep deprivation.

Depression is often mis-diagnosed. Also, people often try to hide or deny depression due to shame. Depression is characterized by a feeling of hopelessness, the inability to follow your usual routine, being hyperemotional, tired upon awakening and overwhelmed by tiredness. Depression may be caused by grief, relationship problems, financial problems or many other problems. People with symptoms of depression should not hesitate to seek medical help, as there are many medications available.

Take Good Care of Your Liver

Our liver works hard for us all day every day but it is perhaps the organ we pay the least attention to, at least until it goes on strike. When your liver isn’t functioning properly, you experience such symptoms as chronic fatigue and muscle aches. The liver regulates our metabolism and blood sugar, and helps us digest fats, use the nutrients from our food, eliminate toxins from our body, and heal. Yet in its struggle to keep us healthy, it is often overtaxed. And while we concentrate heavily on keeping our hearts healthy, many of us neglect our liver.

But there are ways we can protect it and lighten its workload. One habit we may have which harms the liver is ignoring the manufacturer’s directions for using pain relievers. Some of these contain acetaminophen. The liver can break down acetaminophen if we use it as directed. But many people, in their urgency to seek pain relief, take more than the recommended dose. Exceeding 4,000 mg per day of acetaminophen or taking even less for three or four days can injure the liver. So we should be sure that our daily dose is under 4,000 mg and check with our doctor before taking it over two days continuously.

Those of us who weigh a little more than we should are also at risk for NAFLD or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. This is caused by a buildup of fat in the liver resulting in inflammation, and scarring which impairs liver function. We can reduce this by limiting our intake of sweetened or fatty foods such as sweetened beverages or potato chips.

Stop Binge Drinking and Regain Control With a ‘Magic’ Pill That Cures Alcohol Addiction

Stop binge drinking with a ‘magic’ pill – how naltrexone cures alcohol addiction

If you have ever suffered from alcohol blackouts; woken up in strange places; vomited in the street; or pissed your pants, then you are in the right place.

I’ve written this article to prevent others from destroying their work, finances and relationships through binge drinking. I’m not selling anything, I make no money from treating binge drinkers and I have no self-help recordings or hypnotherapy course to promote. What follows is my story and how I regained control over my binge drinking.

Out of control
